Legendary singer, actor, and activist Harry Belafonte has passed away at 96. His daughter, Gina Belafonte, shared a heartfelt tribute to her late father on Instagram, mourning his loss.

Gina Belafonte, daughter of the late Harry Belafonte, recently shared touching tributes to her father on Instagram. Alongside a photo of the two of them, she wrote, "Love you Dad."

In another post featuring the same image, Gina fondly remembered her father, expressing gratitude for his imparted life lessons.

She appreciated the time she had with him and acknowledged his love for her. Concluding her tribute, she recognized her father's significant contributions and his purposeful life. She wrote.

"You taught me so much about life, what to do and what not to do. You were a complicated father who lived one of the fullest lives in human history.”

Harry Belafonte passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 96. His publicist, Ken Sunshine, announced that the "Banana Boat" artist died of congestive heart failure. In addition to his singing career, Harry was a successful actor and activist, working closely with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Gina followed her father's path, building a career as an actress and producer. Her credits include the crime series "The Commish," the 1998 comedy film "Operation Splitsville," and the 2018 Oscar-winning film "BlacKkKlansman," which starred Hollywood actors like Alec Baldwin and John David Washington.
