Exploring Magnetic False Lashes
Getting ready for a night out on the town with your best girlfriends is one of the best feelings in the world. You each have a sweet drink in hand, the music is blaring, and the energy is high. That is until somebody can't get their false eyelashes to stick to the inner corner of their eye.
False lashes are truly an art form that it takes a while to master, and even the most skilled makeup gurus have trouble sticking their lashes on properly from time to time. However, with the invention of magnetic lashes, it seems like those problems might be a little further away.
Here is everything you need to know about purchasing, applying, and wearing magnetic lashes.
What Are Magnetic Lashes?
Putting on false lashes is always the biggest struggle when it comes to doing your makeup. Everything else goes swimmingly, and then you get to the part where you have to apply false lashes, and everything falls apart, and your makeup gets ruined by the copious amounts of glue that you've applied to your eyelid.
Because of this, many people have simply decided that applying false lashes is just not for them because the risk of gluing their eyes shut forever is far too great and the stress of the inner corner lifting all night is simply not worth it.
There have been inventions in the past that have attempted to lessen the burden that false lashes seem to cause people, such as pre-glued false lashes, but all those did was ensure that the lashes couldn't be reused and felt super heavy all night.
Magnetic lashes have finally come to the rescue and provided a safe and simple way to apply false lashes that ensures they stay in place all night long. Magnetic lashes are not actual magnets but do have tiny magnets in them that allow them to stick all night properly.
You might not think that applying a magnet to your eyelid is a good idea, but magnetic lashes have been fully tested and used by many people who were excited about the results they found when using them.
Where Can You Buy Them?
Magnetic lashes have exploded onto the market, and so it is easy to find them in many places. When they first came onto the scene, it was a little more difficult to find them, but you will not be hard-pressed to find a set that you love and can afford since they have gained popularity.
Most drug stores will have some form of magnetic lashes now, and you can also buy them from online beauty boutiques or simply from your closest Sephora or Ulta Beauty.
How Do They Work?
There are two types of magnetic lashes; the ones that have two sets of lashes in one box which adhere to one another, and the ones that come with a magnetic eyeliner to which the lash strip will adhere. Both are extremely effective and beautiful.
If you opt for the ones with two sets of lashes, you will receive lashes that go above your natural lashes and below your natural lashes. Each set of lashes has tiny magnets on them that adhere to one another when placed above and below your natural lashes.
If you prefer to go for something that doesn't have actual magnets, you can opt for eyeliner. The eyeliner is magnetic but not harmful to your eye, and the lash stip is magnetic, too. You simply apply the eyeliner and then place the lash strip on top of the eyeliner so that it sticks.
