Exploring The Benefits of Kaolin
It seems that each day there are a few new skincare ingredients that have cropped up that we need to know all about. One of the newest skincare ingredients that have exploded onto the scene is kaolin.
This skincare trend has come about fairly quickly and has made waves in the beauty industry as an ingredient that can remedy oily skin and help your skin glow healthily.
We decided to look at all of the benefits that you can get from using kaolin clay on your skin.
Controls Oiliness

One of the most sought-after benefits of using kaolin clay is that it controls oiliness in the skin. The clay is like bentonite clay in that it is an excellent absorbent material that you can apply directly to your face.
Kaolin is different because it removes excess sebum on the face without stripping your skin of the natural oils that it needs to stay healthy. This means that you will have a gorgeous glow without any extra oils.
Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin is difficult to deal with because you never know what you can use that will not aggravate your skin or cause unnecessary irritation to your face. Luckily for you, if you have sensitive skin, you can use kaolin clay.
The clay is suitable for sensitive skin, but if your skin tends to be quite dry, you should probably steer clear of this mask. If you have sensitive skin, try doing a patch test on your neck to ensure that the ingredient doesn’t aggravate your skin.
Acne-prone Skin

It is best to use whatever your dermatologist has prescribed you to deal with your acne if you have acne. However, you can always use some other ingredients to soothe your skin in between seeing your doctor.
Green kaolin clay is excellent for soaking up the impurities that tend to cause acne and can therefore provide you with some much-needed relief while you are waiting to see your doctor again.
Natural Exfoliator

We all know by now that exfoliating your skin is extremely important, but it is just as important that you do not use harsh exfoliators on your face as they can cause microtears and damage your skin.
Kaolin clay is a natural exfoliator and is therefore gentle enough to use on your skin to ensure that you get the exfoliation into your skincare routine. Still, it is also good enough as an exfoliator that your skin will be exfoliated effectively.
Tones Skin

Every person wants an even skin tone on their face, and many people use toner for this purpose, but there are many other ways that you can tone your skin up without using a toner, and kaolin clay is one of them.
Kaolin clay can be used as a toner because the mask stimulates your skin cells. You will not immediately be able to see the difference, but if you use kaolin clay consistently for a while, you will be able to see the difference.
