It was good news all around for the royal family this weekend after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their second child Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Shortly after the news broke, Queen Elizabeth shared her warm wishes to the happy couple. Furthermore, Prince William and Kate Middleton took to their official Instagram account to express their warm congratulatory messages.

Not far behind were Prince Charles and Camila, who also expressed their delight at the exciting news. Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is sister to the couple's first child Archie and is now Queen Elizabeth's eleventh grandchild. See what the royals, charity, and the world had to say below.

Harry and Meghan revealed their daughter was born on Friday and is named in honor of the Queen and Prince William and Harry's late mother, Princess Diana. Lilibet is the Queen's family nickname, Harry and Meghan's daughter will be called Lili, as seen in Prince William and Kate's message.

"We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan, and Archie."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Lili was born in Santa Barbara, California, at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Little Lili and her brother Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor are a part of the young royals, including Princes George, Louis and Princess Charlotte, whose parents are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The press statement from Harry and Meghan also revealed that mom and baby are healthy and doing well. Lili was born at 11:40 AM, weighing in at 7 lbs 11 oz. Moreover, the statement revealed that the duo is settling at home.

Aside from the press statement, Harry and Meghan, who do not have an official account, also shared the news on their Archwell Foundation website. In it, they expressed their gratitude and thanked well-wishers for their love and kindness.

Buckingham Palace, through a spokesperson said,

"The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex."

Charities including the Diana Award, which was set up to continue the efforts, Prince Harry's late mother also expressed their congratulations. Moreover, UK government officials, including Boris Johnson, also shared their warm wishes to the royals.
