Unpacking Dr Pimple Popper's Skincare Routine
Here at WomanlyLive, we have written many a story on celebrity skincare. We look up to multiple celebrities, and whose flawless skin we wish we could achieve, so we watch their skincare regimes carefully.
However, who better to follow than the skincare guru herself? The woman who has helped so many people through skin problems that we couldn’t even pronounce. The skincare expert that we all know and love.
Here is the skincare routine that you may always have been waiting for; Dr. Sandra Lee’s skincare routine.
Makeup Remover
Dr. Lee begins her skincare routine by gently removing her false eyelashes and then removing her mascara and eyeliner with Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover by Lancome so that she can move on cleansing her face.
Doing this allows her to have her face cleared of any eye makeup that might hinder the cleansing process. It also ensures that she will not be rough with the sensitive areas around her eyes.
Two Face Washes
Dr. Lee alternates between her own SLMD Salicylic Acid Cleanser and CeraVe’s Hydrating facial cleanser. She uses her brand if she feels like her skin needs exfoliation, and she uses CeraVe if she feels like her skin needs to be moisturized.
Having this balance ensures that her skin’s needs are always taken care of and shows that you don’t always need high-end products to make your skin beautiful; you simply need to know what your skin needs.
Serum
Once Dr. Lee has rinsed her face, she pats it dry with a towel to ensure that she doesn’t cause any micro-tears and then moves on to using her SLMD Hyaluronic Acid Serum. She lets this absorb into her skin while she applies deodorant.
Dr. then then applies SLMD Retinol Serum to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. In case you didn’t already know, retinol assists in collagen production in your skin.
Eyes and Lips
Once Dr Lee has completed her face washing, moisturizing and treating, she moves on to taking care of her eyes and lips. These are two areas of the face that are very often forgotten about.
Dr Lee knows the importance of treating these areas daily and uses CeraVe’s healing ointment to do so. This leaves the skin feeling hydrated and protected.
Spot Treatment
Dr. Lee finishes her skin routine by applying her SLMD BP Spot Treatment to zits that may be forming so that the treatment can dehydrate those spots overnight and get rid of the spot by the next day.
All in all, it is a fairly simple skin routine that many people can use; however, facial skin can be extremely sensitive, so try not to add too many new products to your skincare routine at once.
