Whether it's an impromptu date or a party, unwanted body hair can be a nightmare. In those moments, laser hair removal sounds like a miracle.

However, it is can be extremely expensive and even painful. So, if you plan to get laser hair removal treatment, here are ten things you need to know before the treatment.

1. It Is Not A Permanent Solution

If you believe Laser Hair Treatment is an everlasting solution for your hair, you might be wrong. Laser Hair only decreases the number of unwanted hairs in a given area.

2. Stay Away From Sun Before Appointment

We all know that the harmful rays of the sun affect our skin. If you have brown skin, then it is not a good time for treatment. And if you still want to do it in summer, you have to stay away from the sun for at least four weeks.

3. Shave The Area

The laser affects the pigment of your hair follicle, for it to be effective you have to remove your hair before. So if you are going for laser hair treatment, shave the area to be lasered before your appointment.

4. First Treatment Is Not Enough

One treatment is not enough for hair removal. The first treatment will not give you flawless skin. You have to get at least 5 to 6 sessions for stunning results.

5. Some Hair Type Can Be Hard To Treat

Everyone has different skin and hair types. Some hair types can be tough to treat. but not impossible. After consulting your physician, it may still be a viable option. Also, different hair types can change the effectiveness of the treatment.

6. Process Can Take A Long Time

So if you are going for laser treatment, it is not going to end soon. It will take time according to the area you are having treated. So, you have to be patient.

7. Procedure Can Be Painful

If it is a laser treatment, it doesn't mean it will not give you pain. This process will be stringent for those people who have thick and rough hair. If you have sensitive skin and can't bear the pain, ask for the numbing cream.
