Healing crystals and gemstones are gaining popularity in many spheres of the world and not just in the spiritual sector anymore. This means that more and more people are using them as decoration, jewelry, and metaphysical properties.

However, many people do not know that certain crystals are better suited to certain house rooms because of their metaphysical properties. Crystals can either compliment or mitigate the energy in a room, and it is important to know what they will do.

This is a guide to knowing which crystals are best suited to each room in your home.

Your bedroom should be your sanctuary, a place where you go to escape the world and find peace of mind. For this reason, it is important that the crystals you keep in your bedroom promote those feelings.

The best crystals to keep in your bedroom are rose quartz, amethyst, and black tourmaline. Rose quartz promotes self-love and acceptance, amethyst promotes rest and peacefulness, and black tourmaline promotes protection by cleansing the room’s energy.

Your living room tends to be the social hub of the household. A place where the entire family comes together to spend some time at the end of a long day and relax in each other’s company which means that the crystals in your living room need to bring about these energies in you and your loved ones.

In your living room should have fluorite and emerald. Fluorite promotes balance and harmony, so placing it in the middle of the room will allow those vibrations to disperse throughout the room. Emerald is an excellent crystal to have anywhere in the living room as it promotes luck, abundance, vitality, and domestic bliss.

Whether you’re in an actual office or just at the desk that you use in your home to get things done, you need to have a crystal in that space that will promote focus and good energy so that you can work effectively.

Your office should have citrine, shungite, and spirit quartz. Citrine promotes abundance and financial success, so placing it on your desk is a great idea. Shungite should be placed near your electronics as it can absorb and neutralize electromagnetic radiation. Spirit quartz helps you to bring your individuality out into the world as well as into your work.

Children’s Room

Children are often far more spiritual than adults and tend to feel and perceive energies much more intensely and quickly than adults do, which means they need crystals that clear energy and promote happy feelings.

Place a celestite in your child’s room to promote soothing and calm energy that allows them to feel safe and protected. An obsidian crystal will help absorb any negative energy in the room and allow the child to feel only positive vibrations in that space.

Kitchen

Your kitchen is a place where you will spend a lot of time because you will make all of your meals there and snacks and occasional baking, which means that there is a lot of energy in the kitchen that needs the help of crystals.

Your kitchen should have carnelian, rose quartz, clear quartz, and amethyst in it. Carnelian has uplifting and energizing energy, perfect for cooking. All dishes need to be nurtured somehow, which is why rose quartz is a good choice. Clear quartz will purify and clean the kitchen’s energy as people mill in, and our and amethyst promotes a feeling of peace in the space.

Garden

The garden isn’t technically a room in the house, but it is a space that also needs attention, and that absorbs more energy than possibly any other space in your home, which means that it also needs crystals for the energy in it.

You can fill your garden with green aventurine and ruby fuchsite. Green aventurine is a crystal that will allow the energy of the earth to be guided up through the roots of your plants to keep them healthy, and ruby fuchsite tends to channel the wisdom of fairies to help plants thrive.

Bathroom

Whether you like it or not, you will spend a lot of your time in the bathroom in your house. Whether you’re using the bathtub or shower to get ready for your day or you’re using the bathroom after a long bus ride home, there is always somebody using the bathroom, which means there is a lot of energy in there.

To clear the energy up in the bathroom, it is a good idea to have clear quartz in there at all times. You can also bring rose quartz in if you’re lying in the tub for a while because of the nurturing energy that it brings to the space.

The front door is the entryway to your home and, therefore, the reception to all of the energies that enter your home, from those of your family to the Amazon delivery man who came to drop off your package. For this reason, you need a protective and purifying crystal at your front door.

Placing black tourmaline at your front door will cleanse the energy entering your home and protect your family from negative energies. You can also place a jade crystal at the front door to promote wealth and good luck in the home.
