Benefits Of Going Commando
There are many benefits to not wearing undies and not just for women. That being as it may, it really is just a personal choice.
You may feel apprehensive about walking about sans undies. You may even wonder if it can have a negative effect on your vagina.
“There's no medical reason why it would be a bad idea, and most of the time, nobody's going to be the wiser."
says Hugo D. Ribot, M.D., a Cartersville, Georgia, physician.

The airflow is a good thing. Let your bits breathe a little especially if you tend to opt for synthetic fabrics. If you feel weird about freestyling during the day, try it out at night at least.
"Going commando lets the labia and vagina spend some time away from underwear fabric.”
Kameelah Phillips, MD, an OB/GYN based in New York City, tells Bustle.

If you’re prone to recurring yeast infections, consider ditching the under garments from time to time. The bacteria responsible for yeast infections, loves warm, and moist conditions so it may be ideal to give your veg some air.
Though there is no research to support that not wearing underwear reduces yeast infections for sure, wearing tight underwear or non-breathable fabrics, can retain moisture in your genital area and make it easier for yeast bacteria to grow. So at the very least opt for cotton or loose fitting undies if not ‘undie-less.’

Now there's a reason we call it “going commando” and that’s because when you’re a military-trained soldier, you have to be ready to go at a moment’s notice.
"The catch is, it only works if you think it’s sexy. If you’re not 100 percent into it, or you’re just doing it for the benefit of your partner, not only will it not feel sexy, it will feel completely awkward and uncomfortable."
Jennifer Doan, sex and relationship coach, tells Bustle.

Say goodbye to wedgies or itching along the seams (but also, if you’re regularly feeling itchy along the seams of your undies, they might be too tight).
If the idea of spending some hours bare-bottom is something you can get behind then you may actually find it kind of liberating.
