It wouldn’t be right to let an awards ceremony go by without critically analyzing every outfit from head to toe so that we can give our humble opinion on who dressed to impress and who missed the mark entirely.
Without further ado, here is our best-dressed list for the 2021 MTV Movie and TV awards.
Who doesn’t love an all-in-one from the shoes up? Jurnee Smollet pulled this look off beautifully with a ray of confidence surrounding her. The color looks gorgeous on her skin tone, and the daring look is everything you could wish for in an awards ceremony look.
With ‘90s fashion making a comeback in every sphere of life, it is no surprise that it is returning to the red carpet. Jacob Elordi expertly brought the ‘90s back to the red carpet with this look, and we love it! It is effortless but gorgeous.
Not many people can pull off canary yellow, but Mandy Moore is one of them. The gown that she wore at the awards was one of the best she has ever worn, in our opinion and her makeup was stunning, too.
While Rachel Lindsay has been the topic of much controversy over the past few months, one thing that we can all agree on is that she looked gorgeous at the awards. The all-white ensemble topped with the effortlessly beautiful curls was an overall stunning look.
Calling all ‘Ginny and Georgia’ fans, come and look at Antonia as a vision in a white mini. The look was understated enough to be humble but gorgeous enough to be breathtaking to anybody that looked.
Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas made their red carpet debut together at the awards, and Pernas wore the perfect gown to commemorate the moment. The silky coral gown was spectacular and looked amazing with her voluminous hair.
There is nothing quite like a multi-colored moment on the red carpet, but pair it with understated hair and makeup and some flapper-like frills, and you’ve got a winner. Yvonne Orji looked gorgeous in this fun gown.
Forget the little black dress. Make room for the little red dress. This dress is gorgeous and simple but bold enough to make a statement. The pin-straight hair allowed the dress to have its moment without either of the two detracting from the other.
A man wearing all-black on the red carpet will never go out of style, and Tanner Buchanan proved that at the awards. Alongside Addison Rae, Buchanan looked as suave and sophisticated as James Bond.
Leslie Jones had quite a few looks at this year’s awards, but the look she arrived at the red carpet in is our favorite. The slit in the dress paired with the huge floral detail on the bodice made for an incredible outfit.
Sparkles are never amiss on the red carpet, but Nasim Pedrad ensured that she supplied 85% of the sparkles at this year’s awards. This mini-dress was the perfect statement for the red carpet.
Ever the girl-next-door, Elizabeth Olsen wore a sweet little black dress that any mother would approve of. However, it was not simply modest; it was beautiful, too. The small details on the dress created a significant moment, and Olsen looked stunning in this dress.
A burgundy suit paired with a multi-colored dress shirt is always a good idea, and Eric Andre pulled the look off perfectly on the red carpet. It was par for the course that he then posted a series of pictures of the look, followed by a photograph of Anthony Mackie on the red carpet.
Addison Ray has been hanging out with the Kardashians a lot recently, and from the outfit that she wore on the red carpet, it shows. Rae wore an ensemble that any Kardashian would be proud of and wore it with all the confidence that the Kardashians would.
A business-casual look with a touch of couture is always a winner on the red carpet, and Sierra Capri made sure that she exhibited this in the best way. The pendant earrings that Capri paired the look with perfectly set the look off.
