Different Types Of Baths And Their Benefits

There are few things better than coming home from a long day of work and getting into a lovely hot bath. Don’t get us wrong, showers are great, but there’s something comforting about a tub that you can’t get from a shower.

Perhaps the best part about baths is that you can do so much with them. You can have a bubble bath or throw some salts in or even douse it in oil so that you come out feeling softer than when you were firstborn.

We’ve compiled a list of all of the different types of baths and the benefits of each.

Skin Softening Bath

This bath is made up of salt, bicarbonate of soda, olive oil, and bruised parsley. The salt and bicarbonate of soda will help eliminate dead skin while the parsley will have a soothing effect and the olive oil moisturizes the skin.

This bath will leave your skin feeling soft and brand new. It is important to remember that you should wash the oil off of your body before getting out of the bath and then maintaining the skin’s moisture with body cream afterward.

Pink Salt, Grapefruit, and Ginger Bath

Aside from this bath sounding like a cocktail that we would love to be sipping on the beach, it is an excellent detox bath recipe. All of the ingredients work together to restore moisture, improve circulation, stimulating your lymphatic system.

The salt will restore your skin’s moisture and balance it so that you don’t lose too much moisture in day-to-day life. The grapefruit essential oil will help your body naturally eliminate toxins, and ginger aids the body’s natural healing process.
