Emma Stone’s Plastic Surgery Rumors: What the Experts Are Saying
The "La La Land" star sparked plastic surgery rumors earlier this year when she attended the premiere of her satirical western comedy, "Eddington." The actress had debuted a flattering new pixie cut, but fans couldn't help but notice that something else was "different."
On June 26, 2025, Emma Stone stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, "Eddington." The event was held at the DGA Theater, where the actress showcased a stunning new hairdo.

Instead of her usual shoulder-length ginger locks, Stone's tresses had been transformed into a lightly tousled pixie cut that framed her face beautifully. She had also come dressed to impress for the occasion in a vintage-inspired, floor-length, off-the-shoulder gown.

The dress featured a striking metallic mauve and deep plum color palette, was adorned with flame-like patterns, and cinched at the waist with a belt of circular metallic rings. Stone opted for minimal, glowing makeup, completing her ensemble with subtle jewelry.

Her new look sparked immediate buzz online, as fans showered the "Bugonia" star with compliments. However, a wave of plastic surgery speculation soon ensued, as onlookers claimed she had a "new face."

Fans particularly focused on the shape of her eyes. "Emma's face has definitely changed here…" one person noted. "Her hooded eyes were her most distinctive feature. [...] She still looks lovely it's just sad to see everyone making their faces look the same," another observed.

"Crazy that one can recognize the stages of actor's cosmetic enhancements so plainly! She's freshly fine tuned," a third wrote. "She looks so different! Definitely had eyelid surgery and mini facelift, plus lip fillers and nose is different too. It's a complete makeover!" someone else added.

Stone hasn't addressed the ongoing speculation. Meanwhile, a few experts have weighed in on what she might have had done. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Harrington, who spoke with the Daily Mail, suggested that Stone may have used injectables to enhance her look.

Harrington said the actress has "captured the perfect skin tone, texture, and color to complement two of the most captivating eyes in Hollywood," adding, "These touches are subtle and what most women want today."

"I would guess that she has indulged in some neuromodulators like Botox, Dysport or Daxxify to soften wrinkles over the glabellar lines, forehead and around the eyes," Harrington explained.

She continued, "Perhaps a touch of Sculptra to soften the smile lines and a hint of filler in the upper and lower lips to add fullness and contour. It is very tastefully done and looks great on her."

Harvard-trained plastic surgeon Dr. Yael Halaas suggested that Stone may have had a brow lift, as her eyes now appear more visible and have an almond-like shape. Her eyebrows also seem slightly higher than before.

"Treatments like a brow lift, skin tightening, or neuromodulators can open the eyes and refresh the upper face without changing a person's natural expression," Dr. Halaas explained. "The goal for these types of procedures especially for celebrities is always harmony and natural movement, not overcorrection."

While fans and experts alike have noticed a difference in Stone's appearance, it's worth noting that the above-mentioned surgeons have not treated the actress. Additionally, many have attributed her new glow to better makeup techniques and a more flattering hairstyle.
