Another backlash came for Johnny Depp, who starred as the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts films. He had to leave the franchise after losing a case against The Sun, which reported that he was allegedly involved in domestic violence against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
