Fall is the best season to get experimental with our makeup. There’s tons of inspiration from past fashion shows, and it’s finally cooled down enough for us to cake on the product.

Unlike in summer, our intricate face art does not have the likelihood of melting off every second in fall. This season is prime time for all the stick on embellishments and new colors you’ve always wanted to try! Take a look at some of our favorite fall 2020 trends that you have to try.

The Patent Lip

A gorgeous, ultra-glossy colored lip is so in this season. This lip look is such high shine that it looks like vinyl or patent leather.

This look is pulled off perfectly in Oscar De La Renta’s latest runway show. Models wore an eye-catching brilliant red lip with a gleaming finish, and we’ve been in love ever since.

Embellished Brows

HBO’s Euphoria was not only a cultural reset for television, but also the beauty scene. The show’s makeup artist did an outstanding job with all of the character’s fantastic looks that inspired many.

Face rhinestones have never looked this good. Every modern woman needs to pull out her trusty gems stat!

Artistic Blue Shadow

A splash of blue eye color has been a risk worth taking for a while now. The bold eye makeup look has been taken a step further with an artistic take to painting the eye.

We saw makeup artist Daniel Martin add a swipe of blue paint-like shadow on models for Tadashi Shoji. The abstract art lid can be achieved by adding setting spray to the brush before dipping into a shadow.

A Floating Colored Liner

Dewy skin with a statement pop of color is one of our favorite looks to execute this fall. This makeup look requires no more than skincare prepped face and maybe a light tinted moisturizer. Add a splash of colored liner or shadow to your lid, a little clear gloss on your lip, and you’re good to go.

Temporary Face Tattoo

Complete your makeup look with a fun shaped beauty mark or two on your face. You can achieve this with any fun makeup look of your choice and top it up with Milk Makeup’s famous tattoo stamps.
