Our Beauty Editors Reveal Their Favorite Serums
The face serum is as essential as the moisturizer that you apply morning and evening or as your skin demands. It is a necessary step in skincare of all ages and should be part of everyone's daily routine. Just choose the right one that suits your skin's needs!
The skin's health and beauty are the direct consequence of proper skincare, a daily path to which to devote a lot of attention, especially in choosing products to use.
Among the fundamental rules for skincare, cleansing, deep purification, hydration, protection, and nourishment cannot be missing.
What Is A Serum

The serum boasts of a high mix of active ingredients used to solve a specific problem. It is designed to combat issues such as skin aging and imperfections. The serums penetrate deeply, acting on the skin's deeper layers, transforming themselves into a sort of vehicle to allow moisturizers to improve their effects.
Neither creams nor face serums can work wonders, but they are an extra help to keep the skin supple and toned. Do not forget that also, in this case, a healthy diet rich in vitamins, fibers combined with a healthy lifestyle helps you to maintain healthy and radiant skin.
Vitamin C By Faaiza
I use three serums - retinol, vitamin c, hyaluronic serum. My most favorite would be retinol as it assists with my breakouts and scars.
I use it once a week at night after cleansing. I massage it into my skin with a jade roller and lock it in with a layer of moisturizer over it.
Hair Energy By Ayesha
I use the Hair Energy Whole Blends Skin Food twice a day in the morning and at night. It's super hydrating and nourishing and provides excellent coverage to my dark spots and blemish scars while also brightening my skin. I'm in love with it!"
The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% By Ra'eesah
My skin philosophy is simple is best. So I make it a point to opt for potent, simple products when it comes to treatments. My current favorite is The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%.
It does a great job minimizing blemishes and preventing any congestion leaving my skin feeling smooth and clear. I usually use it in the day as I use Retin A or retinol (depending on how sensitive my skin is on the day) at night.
Niacinamide By Dr. Saadiqah
My favorite serum is niacinamide. It helps with the breakouts and gets rid of them ASAP. It's the first thing I put on after my toner. I started with the ordinary it was impressive right now.
I'm using a local brand called Standard Beauty, and it's just as effective. I don't really see much difference.
