Our Favorite Famous Father-Son Duos
Famous families have become extremely popular in the last couple of decades. It seems like being born into fame is one of the best ways to skyrocket your career before it has even had a chance to begin.
Famous mother-daughter duos are all over the place, from Kris Jenner and her daughters to the more classic pairings like Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson. However, father-son duos don’t get half as much recognition as they deserve.
We’ve decided to take a look at all of the famous father-son duos that you should take more note of.
Ben and Jerry Stiller

The Stillers’ ultimate comedic family are generation after generation of hilarious men, with Ben and Jerry being the originals. The pair have appeared both together and separately in many comedies and have excelled each time.
They are each extremely successful in their own right, and when they appear together on-screen, they are a force to be reckoned with. Perhaps the best part about this duo is the fact that they remind us of ice cream.
Bruce and Sam Springsteen

With a father like Bruce Springsteen, it would be easy to simply fade into the background, but Sam Springsteen has held his own and made a name for himself separate from his father’s fame.
While Sam chose not to spend his time in the limelight, he has become a hero by being sworn in as a firefighter in New Jersey last year. It seems that fame doesn’t run in this family, but talent and determination sure do.
Scott and Clint Eastwood

In the words of Jessie James Decker, “If I could, I’d make them all Clint Eastwood,” because honestly, who didn’t watch Eastwood’s Western movies and wish to be the damsel in distress that he would save?
For those who were just a little too young for Eastwood, his son Clint made small cameos in several of Eastwood’s movies. The father and son duo are both heartthrobs and have inspired crushes spanning generations.
Donald and Kiefer Sutherland

As actors, Donald and Kiefer Sutherland have both had great success. However, when the pair starred alongside one another in the 2016 film ‘Forgiven,’ there was new magic brought to the screen.
The duo might not be as well known individually or as a pair as the other duos on this list, but they are certainly a pair to look out for. There is nothing quite like the quiet and humble success of a b-list celeb.
Matthew, John and Rob Lowe

A father and son duo is something special. However, a father and two sons trio is even better and is exactly what Rob Lowe and his sons bring to us. The Lowe family genes are strong and successful.
All three of the Lowe boys look like different versions of the same face, and all have similar personalities, which makes them the perfect family to add to this list. They also starred alongside one another in the series ‘The Lowe Files.
Milo and Mel Gibson

Both Milo and Mel Gibson are heartthrobs that we wish we had the chance to meet up with, even just for a second, but they have not both always been actors. In fact, Milo had a fairly ordinary job until recently.
Before landing the role of Al Capone on ‘Gangster Land,’ Milo was not following in his father’s acting footsteps. Instead, he was a massage therapist. It seems pretty mundane, but who wouldn’t want Mel Gibson’s son to be their masseur?
Charlie and Martin Sheen

You probably know Charlie Sheen, and either love him or hate him. There is no middle ground with opinions on Sheen. However, you may not know that Robert Hanson from ‘Grace and Frankie’ is his father.
Charlie’s career has been wildly successful, and there is not a person out there who doesn’t know of him, but Martin has had a successful acting career. They have starred in two movies together but have played many other roles separately.
Damon and Damon Wayans Jr.

This is another comedic family that we simply cannot get enough of. The Wayans brothers are all hysterical, but father and son Damon and Damon Jr. are by far our favorite because of how hysterical they are together.
Damon and Damon Jr. have starred in many roles independently but are at their best when they are starring alongside one another. Their chemistry on set is incredible, and they seem to bring out the best in one another.
Sean and Pierce Brosnan

Pierce Brosnan is such a heartthrob that he could be James Bond. Oh, wait, he was James Bond. Parents like Pierce Brosnan and Cassandra Harris were bound to create the perfect little actor.
Sean Brosnan has become an actor and filmmaker separately from his father’s fame and has had much success throughout the years. However, the duo is just as handsome as one another and has appeared in three movies alongside one another.
Tom and Colin Hanks

If you saw Colin Hanks on his own, you might think that he looked a little familiar and that you may know him from somewhere. When you see Colin Hanks next to his father, exactly why you recognize his face is immediately clear.
Tom and Colin Hanks are another father-son acting duo that has taken the screen by storm. They each have successful careers on their own but have starred in a few movies together as well.
