As mush as tiaras is a captivating piece of headwear, they also tend to be rich in history and sentiment. I mean, this is the British monarchy we're talking about.

From Meghan Markle to Princess Diana, here's a look at some of the tiaras worn by the British royals at their weddings in recent years.

Princess Beatrice

For her nuptials on July 17, 2020, to Edwardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice wore the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara. Queen Elizabeth II wore the same tiara for her wedding anniversary to Prince Phillip in 1947.

Princess Eugenie

In October 2018, Princess Eugenie tied the knot with the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara resting atop her head. The tiara features six emeralds on the sides and a larger 93.70-carat center stone.

Meghan Markle

Right from the queen's collection, The Duchess of Sussex wore the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau when she married Prince Harry in May 2018.

Zara Tindall

On her wedding day in July 2011, daughter to Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, Zara Tindall chose her mother's Meander tiara on her wedding day.

In May 2006, Laura Lopes wore the same tiara that her mother Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, wore for her first wedding to Andrew Parker Bowels in 1973.

Sophie Rhys-Jones

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, married Prince Edward in 1999. For her wedding, she wore a tiara that had rarely been seen before the intimate ceremony. According to "The Knot," the tiara is said to have been constructed from four pieces of one of Queen Victoria's crowns.
