5 Times Selena Gomez Influenced Our Winter Wardrobes

With all things fluffy, furry, and comfy, the Rare Beauty Star never fails to amaze us with her impeccable dressing sense. If you’re a fan of long coats, denims, boots and soft bags, it’s time to get some winter styling inspiration from Selena Gomez.

Winters are incomplete if we don’t have lots of sweaters, jackets, coats and blazers to keep us warm and on top of our fashion game. And let’s not forget long, chic boots and sneakers to add that much needed touch of elegance and style.

Selena is currently in New York, shooting for her upcoming Hulu crime series, Only Murders In the Building. She’s seen off and on wearing the most brilliant attires and giving us some major goals to update our winter wardrobes. Let’s have a closer look at the five iconic instances where we couldn’t help get inspired from her winter style.

Long Coat And Denims

The Heart Wants What It Wants star was spotted wearing a long, oversized cream colored coat, which she paired with light blue denim and white sneakers. Her hair was casually tied up in a knot, so maybe she was out and about in between shooting.

Selena completed her look with a grey colored face mask, giving us safety and styling goals. She also had a soft pink bag to accompany her, nailing the minimal wardrobe look by picking light colors.

Teddy Coat And Pants

The next winter look by Selena featured a cream colored teddy coat, coupled with cream pants, brown boots and a white sweater layered underneath. Her gray mask was still on, and she let her hair fall loose on her shoulders, styled with two pins and a center partition.

This warm, fuzzy clothing choice by the Rare Beauty artist is a perfect pick for the chilly weather. While Gomez has chosen light colors yet again, we can always go for darker or lighter tones, depending upon our preferences.

Here comes another style inspiration from Gomez, which is warm, elegant and chic. She opted for a tan skirt, dark colored sweater and tights under her balck puffer long coat, paired with brown boots.

She also wore black sunglasses and her gray mask to complete her look. While the previous two attire choices were comfy and casual, this one in particular seemed more pronounced and formal, but brilliant nonetheless.

Yellow Beanie And Faux-Fur Coat

And this hands down is my favorite look from Selena because she looks so laid back yet gorgeous. Gomez picked a faux-fur coat, jumper and paired them with a yellow beanie cap and brown base checked trousers.

She also chose brown lace-up flat boots, brown shades, a backpack and some splendid and red headphones. And just look at the way she’s walking down the street, completely oblivious to her surrounding and just doing her own thing. So cool!

Cream Colored Loungewear

We can all low-key celebrate this clothing wear choice by Gomez, because she has clearly made loungewear popular and trendy. She was seen wearing a complete head to toe matching cream set, paired with gray fur boots and a green mask.

Selena’s winter style shows more inclination towards staying warm and cozy, rather than opting for designer wear. She has clearly popularized those furry long coats, beanies and of course, loungewear and given us some great fashion advice to rethink our winter dressing code.
