A Guide To Embracing Your Self-Perceived Imperfections
There's nothing wrong in embracing your flaws, merely because they define who you are and how far you’ve come in your journey. If you want to love yourself, start with the parts you've always been intent on hiding.
Human beings are bound to mess up every once in a while. Our mistakes don't mean we're good for nothing, rather they prove that we have the power to persevere in the face of adversities and come out strong.
From childhood right up to adolescence, we are told to hate certain parts of ourselves, and that leads to a distorted self-image. Here are some simple ways you can follow to embrace all of yourself, including your imperfections.
Making Mistakes Is Okay

Please accept the idea that we are allowed to make mistakes and there's nothing wrong about it. Just because we have messed up in life, it doesn't mean we don't have it in us to make things right again.
The best lessons in life can only be learned from getting beaten up and falling down. Some of the most real success stories are a product of years of messing up and struggling, so accepting your losses is a part of the success journey.

When we rush ourselves with everything, we are unsure of which direction to follow and what purpose we want to serve. It's better to keep going at your own pace, rather than getting on the bandwagon and disappointing yourself.
Laugh It Off

The easiest and best thing to do is to opt for a laughter therapy. There's a good reason why laughter has been called the "best medicine," because it has the power to fix nearly all our troubles and woes.
Whenever you feel awful about your mistakes, just watch or read something funny and have a good laugh. It will do you a lot better to give in to a hearty dose of laughter, rather than think of your flaws and drift into depression.
