Amanda Gorman Signs A Modeling Deal
The Inugurial poet who made headlines last week, Amanda Gorman shas signed a modelling deal with IMG
The twenty-two-year-old poet made waves on Inauguration Day with her reading of "The Hill We Climb." It would appear that Amanda Gorman not only caught the nation's eye, but she's also caught the eye of IMG Models which she has subsequently signed with.
IMG Models is home to some widely known faces like Ashley Graham, and Joan Smalls. IMG is one of the leading modeling agencies in the world.

At twenty-two years old, Gorman became the youngest inaugural poet in U.S history. She was widely praised after the occasion for her confidence and her style.
According to "The Hollywood Reporter," IMG will work with Gorman to secure editorial endorsements so we can expect to see whole more from the young poet in the future.

Model Gigi Hadid was quick to congratulate Gorman on joining the IMG family, posting the news to her Instagram Story with the caption,

In addition to her knack for stringing together the right words for an occasion, Gorman is also proving that she has an eye for fashion. She wore a full Prada look at the inauguration ceremony and in interviews following the occasion.
During an appearance on "Good Morning America", she wore a fabulous fuzzy coat and hair accessories. For "The Ellen De Generes Show", she opted for a Chanel tweed jacket paired with white trousers.

Following the inauguration, "Revolt" reports that two of Gorman’s books have jumped to the top of Amazon's bestselling list.“The Hill We Climb” and “Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem,” are maintaining that spot even a week later.

Continuing her upward trajectory, the young poet has also received a job offer to become a poet in residence at Morgan State University.
