Watching TV shows and movies, where dance is the focus, can inspire you. We’ve all probably spent some time trying to choreograph a dance we’ve seen on TV.

If you love dancing, you know how much of a workout it can be, and you’ll enjoy every minute of it! If you need the motivation to continue dancing, here are the health benefits of dancing.

Research has shown that dancing can help improve your memory and prevent disorders like dementia. Dancing and other forms of exercise get your blood pumping to keep you and your brain healthy, especially the part of your brain responsible for memory.

During late adulthood, the hippocampus goes through volume loss, but the research shows that exercise can help prevent that from happening. So dance away because it’s good for your memory!
