March 23 marks National Puppy Day. This is a day established to celebrate the four-legged furry best friends in our lives who bring unconditional affection.
Prepare to have your day brightened! You may be having a rough day or one of those long weeks, but something about looking at adorable baby animals has a way of turning that frown upside down.
Undoubtedly the cutest dogs are entirely subjective, and we all may have differing opinions. Essentially all puppies deserve some tender love and appreciation so, in commemoration of this annual occasion, we’ve compiled a list of the cuddliest, most adorable puppies:
This little guy will probably grow into a real big doggo but with tons of energy and activity to keep you up and on your toes.
The quintessential cutie of puppies. Golden retrievers are notoriously friendly, gentle dogs who love to help around—they’re often involved in rescue and therapy jobs.
Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite breed of dog. Corgi is the kind of dog that looks like puppies for life. They don’t typically grow to be large in size.
Pit Bulls come in various breeds, including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers. They’re classed as pit bulls because they share similar characteristics.
Hollywood’s favorite doggy. Chihuahuas are popularized as the boujee dog seen on screen and on famous personalities’ arms, most notable Paris Hilton.
Much like golden retrievers, these are dogs that like responsibility. They’re quick to pick up on new tricks and fun facts; about one in five are born with a docked tail.
The floppy ears will get you every time. These wrinkle-faced bundles of cuteness are known to be affectionate and robust dogs.
Portuguese Water Dog
The Portuguese Water Dog or Portie is not only hair goals, but this is a brave dog and a historically good swimmer. Quite active, they may also make an ideal jogging partner.
Pekingese Beagles— sometimes referred to as Peagles, is a mix between a Beagle and a Pekingese. These dogs are intelligent and adorable.
You may consider this one if you have a relatively small space. French bulldogs are adorable, small, and mostly low-energy dogs.
