Remembering Princess Diana’s Most Iconic Haircuts

The People’s Princess is considered a style icon that goes beyond her fashion choices to include her ever-changing hair.

According to Good House Keeping, the recognizable short haircut that Diana wore for over ten years was a spontaneous request when she started working with her longtime stylist Sam McKnight.

This spur-of-the-moment decision resulted in what would become on of her most iconic hairstyles to-date. Not only that but the moment is telling of Diana’s “caution to the wind” character that made everyone fall even deeper inlove with her.
