Shop Nail Polishes Loved By The Royal Family
The world watches the ladies of the British royal family’s every move for beauty and fashion inspiration. All royal family members must follow a royal fashion protocol that never ceases to amaze us.
The royal family’s fashion and beauty influence is beyond what many can imagine. Whenever the stylish ladies of the royal family step out in something beautiful, that item or beauty product sells out within days.
Royals famously have to follow all types of rules for fashion and beauty, which even affects their nail polish choices. However, their manicures are always perfect, so take a look at the nail polishes loved by the royals.
Essie Ballet Slippers
Queen Elizabeth is allegedly very fussy when it comes to nail polish and only wears Essie on her fingertips. This may come as a surprise to many since the nail polish brand is quite affordable and accessible to many.
We all know that the ladies of the royal family are expected to wear neutral shades, which explains the Queen’s favorite. Her favorite shade from the Essie line is a light pink hue called ‘Ballet Slippers.’
Essie Allure
The Queen’s favorite nail polish brand seems to have rubbed off on the Duchess of Cambridge as well. Kate Middleton’s wedding glam team revealed the nail color combination they mixed for her big day.
The Duchess’s wedding manicure was a mixture of a discontinued barely there pink polish by Bourjois. Unsurprisingly, manicurists mixed the shade with a light beige Essie shade named ‘Allure’ to create the perfect color.
Rimmel London Super Gel French Manicure Nail Polish In Ivory Tower
While Meghan Markle has made headlines for her dark nail polish choices, she often keeps it neutral. It is reported that the Rimmel London Gel French Manicure nail polish in Ivory Tower has been her go-to on multiple occasions.
CND Shellac In Unmasked
The manicurists at DryBy London were in charge of Meghan Markle’s wedding day nails, and they revealed all. For the wedding day, the Duchess of Sussex opted for Shellac, which lasts for two weeks.
The manicurists also revealed that they used a color combination for her manicure using CND nail colors. The first color they used on the Duchess’s nails was ‘Unmasked,’ a dark neutral tone that’s slightly pink.
CND Shellac In Negligee
One thing we have learned from royal manicures is that mixing colors will always work best. We saw an example of this at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, as revealed by manicurists at DryBy London.
After adding a coat of the CND shade ‘Unmasked,’ they added two coats of the shade ‘Negligee’ to top it off. Negligee is a light pink tone that looks perfectly feminine and elegant for a wedding day set.
