As mush as tiaras is a captivating piece of headwear, they also tend to be rich in history and sentiment. I mean, this is the British monarchy we’re talking about.
From Meghan Markle to Princess Diana, here’s a look at some of the tiaras worn by the British royals at their weddings in recent years.
For her nuptials on July 17, 2020, to Edwardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice wore the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara. Queen Elizabeth II wore the same tiara for her wedding anniversary to Prince Phillip in 1947.
In October 2018, Princess Eugenie tied the knot with the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara resting atop her head. The tiara features six emeralds on the sides and a larger 93.70-carat center stone.
